  WOODS NAMED WHEATIES SPOKESMAN: 
                                               
  - Tiger Woods, whose face already is on everything from billboards to
  magazine covers, now will grace American breakfast tables.
  Woods on Monday became just the eighth permanent spokesman in the 
  nearly 75-year history of Wheaties - the breakfast cereal pitched
  as the "breakfast of champions.
  " Woods joins an elite list of legendary American athletes who have 
  been Wheaties' spokesmen. They include baseball's Pete Rose, tennis'
  Chris Evert Lloyd and basketball's Michael Jordan.

  Wheaties の意味がハッキリしなかったので Bruce に聞いたところ、次のような

  Wheaties is a breakfast cereal-- like Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, etc.
 
  Pitched--  another word (slang) for "advertised".
 
  Breakfast of Champions--  Wheaties advertises that athletes eat Wheaties
  so that they can perform better (like Unagi or Natto?).  So, they state
  that athlete champions (like Olympic champions, Super Bowl champions, etc)
  eat their cereal for breakfast so that they can win.
