GAS PRICES FALL TO LOWEST LEVELS IN 6 YEARS:                                   
NEW YORK - The price of gasoline is at its lowest level in 6 1/2 years,        
according to a survey conducted for the American Automobile Association by Oil 
Price Information Service. The AAA said the average price of a gallon of self- 
serve regular unleaded gas in September was $1.057, down 23.1 cents from a year
ago. 

1 gallon = 3.785 litter　ですから、

1　リットル　当たり　では、　1.057/ 3.785＝0.279$

今、１＄　が　135円　ですから、0.279ドル　は　37.7円です。

なんと、ガソリン１リットル当たり　37.7円です。

羨ましいほど安いですね。
