今日、TOEIC　のテストを受けました。

　　　受ける前に、All, Each, Every の人称が気になり調べた。
 
　　　TOEIC の テストでは出ませんでした。

　　　英英辞典で調べると、次のようです。



　　☆原則は、All は複数、Each と Every は単数。


　　　All

  　　　All students hate exams.

  　　　All the people have gone.

　　　Each

  　　　Each of my children goes to a different school.


　　　Every

  　　　Every child likes (= All children like) to get present.


　　☆例外

　　　All

　　　  数えられない 名詞（Uncountable Noun) を伴う場合の Allは単数。

 
 　　　 All (of) the money is spent.


　　　Each

　　　  複数の主語の後に使われる場合は複数扱い。


　　　  They each have their own room.



　　　ややこしいですね。
