　　　いまだに、attend の使い方で迷ってしまう。
　　　今日も 「会議に出席する」 と メールを出そうとして、迷ってしまった。

　　　他動詞として

１、（人を） 世話する、看護する、
　　　　The mother attends her baby.母親は赤ん坊の世話をする。
２、付き添う、仕える、
　　　　The president is attended by several aides.大統領には数人の補佐官が付き添っていた。
３、（結果として）に伴う
　　　　High fever attends malaria. マラリアは高熱を伴う
４、（会合、講義などに）出席する、
　　　　attend a meeting. 会議に出席する。
　　　　attend school. 学校に通う。
　　　　The concert was well attended. 音楽会は入りが良かった。
自動詞として
５、（に）注意する、気を配る、 （to）
　　　　Will you attend to the fire ? 火に気をつけてくださいませんか。
６、（仕事などに） 精を出す、
　　　　You should attend to your work. 仕事に精を出すべきだ。
